Futura Cinema supports innovative projects related to the distribution, exhibition, and connection of works with their audiences: new tools for cinemas, festivals, distributors and other distribution professionals; new approaches to audience engagement; digital, data and AI projects applied to distribution; social or environmental innovation; and bridges between cinema and other cultural sectors.

Futura Cinema supports you in the design, implementation and evaluation of your experiment, drawing on its methodology and a network of partner cinemas, festivals and cultural venues across France and Europe.

Depending on your needs, we can support you in:

• developing an experimentation protocol;
• identifying and engaging one or more partner venues;
• preparing, conducting and analysing the experiment;
• drawing lessons from the test and defining adaptations or next steps.

Looking to identify the most suitable funding opportunities for your project or prepare an application?

Depending on the project, we can help with:

• preparing the budget and timeline;
• preparing for pitches and meetings with funders.

Our aim is not to submit as many applications as possible, but to identify opportunities that are genuinely aligned with your project.

Each assignment is built around clear, practical objectives, with agreed deliverables or next steps.

Our Rates

Our services are tailored to each project and depend on its stage of development and your specific needs. We’ll provide a quote following an initial conversation.

Some indicative rates:

- One-time workshop
starting at 400 € (excl. tax)

- Support program, including experimentation
starting at €1,800 (excl. tax)

Depending on your project, we can also offer:

• training sessions and workshops for teams at cinemas, festivals, or cultural organizations;
• access to workspaces in our offices;
• introductions to our network of cinemas, festivals, experts, and European partners.

Designing Professional Events

Festivals, institutions, professional networks, companies or cultural venues: we design events and programmes focused on innovation, cinema and new cultural practices.

Futura Cinema can help you:

• design and organise a hackathon;
• develop a professional day or programme of talks and meetings;
• organise conferences, workshops or panel discussions;
• identify relevant initiatives from France and across Europe;
• facilitate and moderate discussions.

Our involvement can range from targeted support to the full design and delivery of the programme.
