2025-2026 STEERING COMMITTEE

The steering committee is made up of a number of experts from different sectors.
It monitors the progress and development of the projects throughout the year.

Futura Cinema

ANNE POULIQUEN

Anne Pouliquen began her career in professional organisations, successively holding the positions of delegate general of Europa Distribution and DIRE, coordinator of the GIE Direct for the digital transition of cinemas, secretary general of the Collectif des Indépendants pour le Numérique, deputy delegate general of the AFCAE and more recently delegate general of FranceVFX.

She has also organised several festivals and professional events, including Les Arcs Summit at the Arcs Film Festival since 2009 and the Congress fo independent cinema since 2021.

In 2012, she founded Distinguo, a cinema and innovation consultancy and event organisation agency.

In 2021, she launched the Futura Cinema programme, for which she is responsible for management, in partnership with Révélations Culturelles.

Webedia

CHRISTOPHE BRANGÉ

Christophe Brangé heads up the TARGETT business, a digital marketing service based on the Webedia group's media data, in France and internationally.

He has worked for almost 10 years in the field of marketing for cultural players, from support on social networks to programmatic campaigns, via traditional media buying and events.

JULIEN DROUAIS

Julien Drouais runs the AlloCiné portals in France as well as Filmstarts and Moviepilot in Germany. With over 12 years' experience in the digital media industry, he has held a number of senior positions in product management, marketing and sales.

His expertise covers digital marketing, search engine optimisation, social networks and the management of international teams.

Audiens

AUDE MERLET

Aude Merlet is an innovation and entrepreneurship expert in the Communications Department of Audiens, the social protection group for cultural professionals.

Aude is in charge of professional partnerships, in connection with the new cultural professions and support for entrepreneurship and innovation. She is also in charge of the Audiens Générations - Institut de France Foundation, which rewards cultural, intergenerational and digital initiatives every year.

Pali Pali

EDOUARD MEIER

A graduate of the Institut d'Études Politiques in Strasbourg, Edouard Meier began his career at the European Parliament in 2004, working with its Vice-President and as a member of the Culture Committee. He continued his activities in Brussels by helping to set up the Cinéma Galeries and then, in 2016, by creating pali pali, an accelerator of cultural and solidarity projects.

The company manages and activates venues (60,000 square metres of third places in Belgium and France), supports projects and trains entrepreneurs in the creative economy. pali pali has a strong European flavour, being a member of the B.creative network and the New European Bauhaus. Since 2016, the group has been strengthening its activities in the field of the social and solidarity economy with the creation of a consultancy division that draws on the 300 associations supported by the company and the major international accounts that place their trust in it (ING, Google, RTBF, Groupe SOS, Enabel, Ministry of Culture, etc.).

Edouard Meier teaches ‘new models of culture’ at IHECS in the Masters in Sociocultural Animation and Continuing Education (Masters 1 and 2).

CICAE

The CICAE (International Confederation of Arthouse Cinemas) will be represented on the Steering Committee, with 2 experts present at each stage, alternating between 4 cinema exhibitors in Europe.

MARIJANA BOŠNJAK

Marijana Bošnjak holds a master's degree in economics from the "Entrepreneurship" study program at the J.J.Strossmayer University in Osijek (Croatia).

With experience in strategic, risk and crisis management, she took over the struggling company Kinematografi Osijek in 2007. Through a complete business and program transformation in a short time, kino Urania as Osijek cinemas have become one of the most successful cinemas with a constant growth in the number of audiences and the share of European films in their program. For her business results, she received the award for the cinema with the best program in Europe in 2015 and 2018 and the European Audience Development Award from Europa Cinemas in 2018. 

Since 2021, she has been appointed a member of the board of directors of the CICAE and a member of the Europa Cinemas association. From 2011 to 2023, she conducted a series of trainings in the field of innovation, audience development, new media and new technologies as part of the educational labs of the European cinema network Europa Cinemas.

MARLENA GABRYSZEWSKA

Marlena Gabryszewska is a film expert, Polish philologist, animator and cultural manager.

She began her career in the film industry in 2009 as a programmer, later becoming head of the programming department at the Iluzjon Filmoteka Narodowa cinema. From 2010 to 2016, she coordinated the Silent Cinema Festival. In 2015, she carried out a cultural exchange project called ULTIMA THULE in four cities in Poland and Iceland. She has collaborated with many festivals for many years: Crossroads of Europe, the Summer Film Academy in Zwierzyniec, and the EnergaCamerimage Festival.

In 2016, she took over management of the newly opened Elektronik cinema at the Warsaw Film School, setting its programme direction and character. During her time there, the cinema was nominated twice for the Polish Film Institute Award in the Best Cinema category, and was honoured with the title of Cinema of the Month by the Europa Cinemas Network.

Since 2021, she has been a member of the Council of the Polish Film Institute. Since 2023, she has been Vice-President of the CICAE. Today, she is CEO of the cinema Stowarzyszenie Kin Studyjnych in Poland.

HANNELE MARJAVAARA

Hannele Marjavaara has been running the beautiful arthouse cinema Kino Tapiola just outside Helsinki in Finland since its reopening in 2010. She was also the head programmer for cinema Riviera in Helsinki from 2016–2019 in addition to working for Espoo Ciné International Film Festival and for film production companies. 
 
Hannele has been a member of the CICAE Executive Board since 2023, and prior to that, a member of the CICAE Board of Directors since 2019. She is also Vice President of Filmiaura ry, the organisation behind the Finnish Film Awards. From 2021 to 2022 she took part in UNIC’s (The International Union of Cinemas) Female Leadership in Cinema programme as a mentor. She is also the co-founder of Korttelikinot ry, a non-profit association that brings together independent cinemas in Helsinki’s capital region and running Kinot.fi, the cinemas’ joint programming website.
 
Her background is in BA and Post Graduate drama studies in the UK, where she also worked for many years as Senior Operations Manager in the events industry before returning to Finland in 2006. 

MIRA STALEVA

After studying theology and psychology, Mira Staleva changed direction and became involved in various areas of the audiovisual industry, a career spanning 25 years. She started working at Cinema House and the Sofia International Film Festival from the very beginning, and she is currently the managing director of Sofia IFF and Sofia Meetings, as well as the production and distribution company Art Fest Ltd.

The Sofia IFF is the biggest film festival in Bulgaria and the only one accredited by FIAPF. Variety has labelled the festival as one of the world's 50 unmissable film forums. Sofia Meetings is a co-production market focused on projects by up-and-coming directors, gathering more than 400 key industry executives, including producers, funds, sales agents, distributors and exhibitors, from all over Europe. The festival also includes the travelling cinema SFF on the Road, which covers around 10–15 towns.

Mira is involved in the consulting, development, production, distribution, exhibition, audience development, and festival management and curation of audiovisual content.

Mira is a member of the board of the European Film Academy and CICAE.

Cineville

SAMIR AZRIOUAL

Samir Azrioual is the managing director of Cineville, a European unlimited arthouse film pass with over 140.000 members, and available in five countries. Part tech, part branded community, Cineville aims to strengthen the European arthouse cinemas via collaboration and innovation.

Before his work at Cineville, Samir worked in venture philanthropy where he was responsible for the launch and growth for initiatives in the social sector.

CIMIx / Advantage Austria

REANNE LEUNING

Reanne Leuning has been responsible for the internationalization programs of Austria’s creative industries at ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA since 2008.

Prior to that, she gained experience in the cultural departments of the Dutch embassies in Athens and Vienna, with the European Commission, as an editor, and in the art sector at ART & IDEA. Additionally, she has been the Vice Chair of Kreativwirtschaft Austria since 2022.

Cineuropa

DOMENICO LA PORTA

A former lawyer and journalist, Domenico La Porta flipped his professional career when he became a scriptwriter for films, TV series, XR and video games. 

His latest work includes the adventure/action film Largo Winch: The Price of Money (Olivier Masset Depasse) and the true-crime film Maldoror (Fabrice du Welz), the action game Gangs of Sherwood (Nacon), and the sci‑fi adventure game Outcast: A New Beginning (THQ Nordics).

Recently, Domenico synthesized his cross-disciplinary experience in storytelling into a series of scriptwriting tools available on www.storytricks.cards.

Still the editor-in-chief of Cineuropa.org, founded in 2001, Domenico has started several companies, including an IP institute, which was sold to Media Participation in 2018.

NewImages

MICHELE ZIEGLER

Michele Ziegler's main mission is to make culture accessible to all.

As Head of NewImages Hub & Festival, she supports the cultural and immersive industries in creating artistic projects for all audiences. As Director of Digital Strategy at the Forum des images - TUMO Paris, Michele is in charge of innovative programming for the cinema, combining games and other forms of creative art, developing a genuine platform for experimentation.

CST

BAPTISTE HEYNEMANN

Managing Director of the CST (The Technical Commission for Sound and Images), since 2018, Baptiste Heynemann was previously Head of the Technical Industries and Innovation Department at the French National Center of cinema.

The CST is France's leading association of film and audiovisual technicians.

MATHIEU GUETTA

After more than 15 years as an exhibitor in independent Parisian cinemas, Mathieu Guetta has been a permanent member of the CST (The Higher Technical Commission for Sound and Images) since March 2022.

Mathieu is responsible in particular for auditing cinemas, carrying out part of the advisory and verification visits required to comply with AFNOR NF S 27-001 standards on the dimensional characteristics of cinemas and NF S 27-100 on digital projection. He also carries out a large proportion of the visits required to obtain the Excellence or Immersion labels, and contributes to training cinema staff.

MARION THARAUD

Marketing Director of Haut et Court Distribution (an independent French film production and distribution company), President of Occitanie Films and Managing Director of MTFilms.

Agence So

SORAYA KAVOUSSIAN

Soraya Kavoussian has specialised in cultural and artistic communication for 20 years. After graduating from La Sorbonne-Nouvelle with a degree in Arts and Culture Communication, she joined Radio Nova and then the Warner Jazz label before moving on to Favela Chic in Paris and London. In 2008, she founded L'agence So. This creative studio and production office has been working for 15 years with players and organisations from the world of culture (artists, institutions, foundations, companies and public and private cultural bodies). She also teaches and trains in communications at universities (Paris 8, Rouen-Normandie), private schools (EFAP) and cultural organisations (La Fabrique de la Danse).

At Agence So, Soraya Kavoussian is responsible for the general management and coordination of all projects. With her team, she offers a range of operational print and digital communication tools to support public speaking and events: strategy, graphic and editorial guidelines, posters, leaflets, publications, corporate films and video clips for social networks.

Élise Mignot is the general manager and programmer of the Cinema Café des Images in Hérouville-Saint-Clair (France).
