The steering committee is made up of a number of experts from different sectors.
It monitors the progress and development of the projects throughout the year.

Anne Pouliquen
Director of Futura Cinema
Anne Pouliquen has worked with the Arcs Film Festival since its creation in 2009, organising the Arcs Summit and the Hackathon du Cinéma since 2017. A graduate of FEMIS in distribution, she successively held the positions of delegate general of the DIRE distributors' union and coordinator of GIE Direct. She coordinates the FranceVFX union and is also a consultant and project manager for innovative digital services for the exhibition industry.

Baptiste Heynemann
General Delegate of the CST
After studying engineering, Baptiste Heynemann spent 14 years at the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC), where he was responsible for technological innovation and the International Tax Credit. In November 2018, he became General Delegate of the Commission Supérieure Technique de l'Image et du Son (CST). The CST association promotes the quality of the technical gesture and respect for image and sound throughout the production chain, for the benefit of the director's vision, on the one hand, and the viewer's comfort, on the other. The CST awards the Excellence or Immersion labels to cinemas that offer the best experience to their audiences.

Frédérique Duperret
Director of the Cinéma Comoedia in Lyon
Frédérique Duperret grew up with the Comœdia and its revivals, taking her first steps with the Lapouble family, then with UGC. For more than 15 years, she has lived to the rhythm of this independent cinema. Vibrating to the rhythm of film releases, daily admissions... Above all, seeking to defend a certain idea of cinema, ‘this major art that knows so well how to bring out emotion and spark debate’. In 2019, Frédérique will be joining forces with Marc Bonny and Ronan Frémondière to co-direct the festival alongside Ronan. Frédérique has also been a member of the SCARE board of directors for four years, and is co-vice-president for the second year running.

Sylvain Bethenod
CEO of Vertigo
After studying political science and audiovisual law, Sylvain BETHENOD began his career in film production and distribution at MK2 and UGC/Fox Distribution (UFD), then in audience and marketing research for cinema at Médiamétrie. In 2009, he set up VERTIGO, which has become the benchmark research institute for the cinema market. Every week, it provides the entire industry and the trade press with essential information on the behaviour and profile of cinema-going audiences. This service provides producers and distributors with advice to help their film projects or finished feature films find their audience(s) more easily.

Béatrice Boursier
General Delegate of SCARE
Before joining SCARE as Managing Director, Béatrice Boursier worked as a freelance event organiser and promoter, including the FNCF's national events (Printemps and Fête du cinéma), the Paris City Council's culture and cinema events, professional meetings (Rencontres Cinématographiques de l'ARP) and festivals (Champs-Elysées Film Festival). She was also in charge of the AFCAE's promotional activities, communications and publications group, and then Director of Distribution at Premium Films.

Clara Benyamin
Intellectual Property Lawyer
A member of the Paris Bar and Data Privacy Officer, Clara Benyamin co-founded CBLF Avocats in 2021, a firm dedicated to the creative industries and new media. After working for a talent agency, the production teams of a contemporary orchestra and several Parisian law firms, she now works with players in the film, gaming, influencer marketing and immersive narratives (VR, theatre, escape games) sectors. She assists her clients with issues of intellectual property law, personal data law and all situations where these two subjects come together.

Guillaume Boutin
Founder of Sens Critique
Guillaume Boutin is the founder of SensCritique. With 110 million user reviews, SensCritique is the leading platform for cultural reviews in France, and in just a few years has established itself as the place to be for young film fans. Guillaume has been at the heart of the digital transformation of the entertainment industry in recent years, and has always been passionate about what's at stake in this world.

Thierry Chevillard
Director of Blue Efficience
Thierry Chevillard has been the founder and director of Blue Efficience since 2008. The company is a leader in the field of protecting audiovisual works against internet piracy. Within his company, he guides the choice of innovations. Some of these have led to ground-breaking solutions, such as the Universal Fingerprinting service and Blue Sites, dedicated to consumer conversion. Thierry Chevillard is recognised as an expert in his field, and is sought after by professionals, the media and public bodies such as the Ministry of Culture and the European Parliament. He has an engineering degree and a Masters from a business school.

Anne-Sophie Poupin
Incubation project manager at LINCC
Anne-Sophie Poupin is in charge of sourcing and supporting incubated start-ups. Passionate about the entrepreneurial process, she has worked in a number of entrepreneurial support, training and funding networks, both in operational positions and in support functions (community management, digital communications, digital transition projects).

Laurie Etheve
Communications Officer at LINCC
In search of new formats. One of her missions is to support start-ups in questioning and developing their communications strategies. The common thread running through her career is one ambition: to infuse innovation into the heart of the digital, cultural and creative industries.

Mathieu Robinet
Founder of Tandem
From 2013 to 2019, Mathieu Robinet will run the production, distribution and sales company BAC FILMS. Working with numerous professionals and directors, he has overseen the production and marketing of over 100 films, including MADEMOISELLE, JACKIE, LETO and THE SQUARE (Palme d'Or). In 2020, Mathieu Robinet set up TANDEM, a production and distribution company for the authors of tomorrow.

David Gal Regniez
Technical Director for Content and Uses at Minalogic
Since 1 January 2019, Imaginove's ‘Innovation’ activity has been officially materialised by the creation of a 4th Strategic Activity Area (SAA) entitled ‘Contents and Uses’, for which David Gal-Régniez is the technical director within Minalogic.
