Stage 5 of the Incubation Programme

🚀 A few updates from the fifth stage of the Incubation Programme in Hamburg!

Futura Cinema travelled to Hamburg from 28 to 30 September 2026, in collaboration with FilmFest Hamburg, for three days dedicated to project experimentation, exchanges with industry professionals and new perspectives on film exhibition and audience development.

👉 This stage brought together a European delegation of more than 30 film and cultural professionals, assembled by Futura Cinema in collaboration with CICAE, the Région Grand Est and FilmFest Hamburg. The delegation had the opportunity to discover the projects, take part in the experiments and exchange with participants throughout the three days.

🎬 On the agenda

On 29 and 30 September, the teams experimented with their projects in different locations across Hamburg, bringing their ideas to life through live demonstrations.

From cinemas to music and cultural venues, the projects explored new ways of experiencing cinema through games, photography, music, interactive experiences and other artistic forms.

🎤 The fifth stage concluded with a pitching session at JazzHall. Each team had 5 to 10 minutes to present their project to the European delegation, followed by a discussion around their ideas, business plans and budgets.

🤝 This stage gave participants the opportunity to put their projects to the test, gather new feedback and challenge their ideas through the perspectives of industry professionals from across Europe.
